Jerez de la Frontera is known as ´the city of sherry, horses and flamenco´. The sherries produced in the many bodegas here such as Tio Pepe and Harvey´s are world famous. The chalky flats around Jerez with the high temperatures and shelter from the winds a little further inland make fabulous growing conditions for the grapes in order to produce the highest quality ´fino´.
